Bridal Terms & Conditions

Thank you so much for your enquiry about my bridal makeup services! A wedding morning is such a special and unique time for every bridal party, and it’s something I absolutely love being a part of.

Now, onto the less exciting (but very important) bits!

How much does it cost for a bridal party?

My bridal party pricing starts from £500 for up to 5 people. Whether there is one person or five, the price remains the same.

My comfortable number for makeup on the day is 5 people, but in some cases, I can accommodate more. The cost of each additional person over 5 will be £70pp.

Each bridal quote is bespoke, and additional costs for travel and overall time spent will be calculated once the location and timings for the day are confirmed.

Please note: Prices do not include VAT. If applicable, this will be added to your invoice.

How much deposit will I pay?

To secure your wedding date, a non-refundable deposit of £150 is required once agreed upon. This will be deducted from the total cost, which will be outlined in your invoice.

Your date cannot be held until the deposit is paid, and until then, it remains open to other enquiries.

Payment Methods: Bank transfer is preferred, but if you need an alternative method, let me know!

What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule?

If you cancel at any time, your deposit is non-refundable.

If you cancel within one month of the wedding, the full balance will still be due as I have reserved this date exclusively for you.

If I am unable to attend due to illness or an emergency, I will do my very best to find a replacement artist. If I cannot, a full refund will be issued.

If your wedding date changes, I will try to accommodate the new date, but this will depend on my availability.

Will I have a bridal trial?

A trial is compulsory for the bride and is recommended around 3 months before the wedding. However, this can be done earlier or later, depending on your schedule.

Bridal trials are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays at:

Hannah Taylor Bridal Hair & Training

27a Mansfield Road,

Sheffield, S12 2AE.

The cost is £75, payable on the day of the trial, and is in addition to the flat rate. If you’d like additional trials (for yourself or bridal party members), these can be arranged at the same rate.

Please note: Trial fees are non-refundable, even if you decide not to proceed with the booking afterward.

How far do you travel, and what is the travel charge?

Travel costs are calculated based on the return journey home, charged at £50 per hour of travel (one way).

If I need to start before 7 AM or if travel time exceeds 75 minutes, overnight accommodation near your venue may be required, which will be at your expense and arranged by you.

How much time is required for makeup on the wedding day?

I need between 45-90 minutes per person on the morning of the wedding. I always require a little more time for bridal makeup, and my only request is that the bride is not first or last for makeup, where possible.

For example, for a bridal party of 5, I would need approximately 6 hours, including setting time.

If your wedding schedule is tight, an additional artist may be needed to ensure everything runs smoothly. This can either be arranged by me (with your consent) or by you.  The cost for an additional artist is £75 per person, plus a small travel fee for their time.

When is my final balance due?

The final balance, including travel, must be paid one month before the wedding. I will send an invoice the month before, and this should be paid by the date stated.

If payment is not made on time, I cannot guarantee my availability for your wedding day.

What if I or my bridal party have allergies or sensitivities?

Please let me know in advance if you or anyone in your bridal party has any allergies, sensitivities, or skin conditions that could be affected by makeup products.

While I use high-quality professional products, I cannot be held liable for any allergic reactions unless caused by negligence. If you are concerned, I recommend a patch test or trial beforehand.

What if someone is late on the wedding day?

The wedding morning can be hectic, so it’s important that everyone is ready at their scheduled time. If someone is late, I will do my best to accommodate them, but if it causes delays, I may not be able to complete their makeup, and no refunds will be given.

For trials, if you arrive more than 15 minutes late, I may need to reschedule, and a new trial fee may apply.

Can I have photos taken during my makeup session?

Absolutely! I love seeing behind-the-scenes moments. I may also take my own before-and-after photos for my portfolio and social media. If you’d rather your images not be used publicly, please just let me know—no problem at all!

What happens in unforeseen circumstances (e.g., illness, extreme weather, pandemics)?

If something outside of our control (e.g., extreme weather, illness, government restrictions) prevents the booking from going ahead, I will work with you to find a solution. However, I cannot guarantee a refund unless I am personally unable to fulfil the booking.

Agreement and Consent of T&Cs

By paying your deposit, you agree to these terms and conditions. It is the bride’s responsibility to read, understand, and accept these terms before booking.

Aside from the formalities, my priority is to make you feel relaxed, confident, and beautiful on your wedding day. I will do my absolute best to make sure that happens!
